Evening,
I have a tempest brolly and was wondering what mozzie mesh infill/cover i could buy to use with it.
Searching online shows that Tracker sell several types although some seem to be discontinued. I assume my brolly is not a V2 as it doesn't have a zip around the opening which i assume is how most of the panels attach. Is there a version that you throw over the brolly?

It was a clip on mozzie front for tempest v1 brolly but not in production anymore. You might find one second hand ?

Cheers, I thought that may have been the case. I wonder if there are any generic mossie mesh nets I can use?

I think jrc do a universal mozzy mesh. I have a feeling it may be for conventional brollys but not 100% on that.

The Cyprinus one has clips to the poles. I have one for the v2 but due to how it works would assume it would fit the v1 (can someone confirm?). If so I may have one for sale as recently purchased the zip in version

Thanks, i am not sure whether it is compatible with the brolly as it says it is for the V2 air bivvy...not sure what the difference is between these shelters?

I have a Trakker V1 Tempest Brolly clip on mesh front that I would let you have if it didn't have a hole where it got a little too close to the kettle by accident!!! It is too big to sew up from memory & would need a mesh "patch" to make it mossi proof again. Once the lockdown is over (I have to self isolate for 12wks mini m as high risk) you are more than welcome to it (for cost of postage) if you want to try a repair. I will try & dig it out tomorrow & see exactly how big the hole is

I have had a look & the hole is approx 12” from the bottom & about 7”x5” roughly in size with one side of the hole being the zip itself on the door. Could easily patch it if you have a sewing machine or don't mind sitting there for an hour or so with a needle & braid. You could use the mesh bag that it is supplied in as the patch if you use an actual hold-all for the shelter (fold it up & stick it in the open end of the sleeve).
