Has anyone got any info. on a cheap club I can join for day sessions around the Medway/Maidstone area. Just want something different from the commercials.

You could try Maidstone Victory AS, Medway Valley Fisheries or Kingfisher Angling and Preservation Society though they may have waiting lists.

Thanks for the info I'll have a look, lots of clubs are quite expensive as I don't go that often.

Might be worth looking at fishing the river Medway? Most clubs are going to be at least £100.

I did think that a while ago, quite liked the look of Teston Bridge but not sure if it's free or day ticket/club.
I fished the town stretch by the courts years ago, but to be fair had no clue in what I was doing,

The medway is free from town to the Malta Inn I believe
