Having a look at these at the moment. I haven't used swingers for about 20 years when I had two of the MKII Swingers, was always losing the isotope cover!
Just wondered if anybody has them and what opinion they have of them? I currently use the Black Label Bobbins and really like them, just fancied a change and thought I'd get some opinions first.

I've had them for about 10 months, reasonably happy, nothing has broken on them or fallen off but I probably do prefer bobbins overall - why...I'm just not sure. Perhaps it's the awkwardness of having the stiff section compared to a chain.
The thing I love about them and why I bought them is the sliding weight and how you can adjust it so quickly compared to screwing on weights to bobbins. Although it's a shame you can't adjust them as much as the original swingers where you could push the weight back behind the hockey stick to make them completely weightless but then I do think they are a nicer compact size than the originals.
I haven't got any immediate desire to change them.

Pretty much what Houdini said, only other gripe is I don't think they have enough weight on them

I think they are a superb piece of kit.
Use mine for all my fishing apart from zigs and v long range,
Then I use the fox quiver arms instead

How do you find the bite indication?
I very rarely fish more than 80 yards and never feel the need to fish with tight lines. I'm a fan of a semi slack line usually. Rarely do I use zigs. Normally 3 rods on the bottom.
Do they come with the hard case to store them? I'd be after a set of 3 blue + case

They'll be spot on for what your using them for bud... Bite indication is great and no they don't come with the case

Each to their own ,and whilst I see nothing wrong with the mini swingers I still prefer the Fox MK 3s a bit more scope with them .

I've been using the Mini Swingers for over a year. Great for what I do, ..rarely fish over 80 yards, but did find them OK fishing locked up at about 125 in France last year...
Not appropriate for big distances and undertows of course.. still have the big ones for that stuff.

As fas I can remember 2ba is the most popular, Nash use M5 and Fox M6 on their bobbins etc but not checked the Black Label swingers, would guess also M6 to stay compatible with their range, but you never know with manufacturers
