Hi Want to re proof my V2 brolly etc....Which Fabsil would be more suitable.the Original or Gold version?

Gold has a 5 x higher silicone content as I understand, if the proofing hasn't been neglected you could possibly get away with original?

I dont understand why this would need reproofing already ?
are you sure its leaking and not just condensation ? often a good clean with plain warm water restores the beading properties if its muddy and dirty as these types of modern coated fabrics will easily last 10 plus years if kept clean and not packed away wet

Cheers OG. Will try a clean down 1st. Inside was very wet and assumed it was too much to be condensation. Rarely have unit fully enclosed so there's a steady circulation of air.
BTW.. Seen a couple of interesting contributions on a certain cooking page elsewhere

Nik wax is great btbh, it should not need reproffing if leaking ask 4 new one..

Cool it's not leaking, has never beaded water that well from new tbh

My V1 brolly is well over five years old now and seen some awfully bad weather on a big wind swept pit.

I have never reproofed it yet. Only ever washed it with warm water. It's still beading fine.
