Just wanted to hear opinions of the Daiwa Infinity Df x45s
Can possibly get a set 3.25 12 footers. Anyone using them what they like? Casting, playing fish etc

Fantastic rods. Got a set 3/25 and they are so light and responsive
Can cast well too so would recommend highly personally

Best rods I have ever used . So light in the hand. Will be getting another set soon in 12ft 3.25lb again.

Awful rods for most situations of carp fishing best for estuary or light sea fishing why do people lie or kid themselves they are good for playing fish its bizarre.Korda had a tie up with diawa and is the reason df was plugging them and a the sheep duly followed.

Load of crap. If you got offered a free product but it ruined your fishing would you use it ?
There really good rods regardless if Korda are tied in.

Love mine, crisp light and nice action also have them in 3 3/4 had torrix t.e s before and much prefer these.

Stupid comment. I've had 3 sets of Infinity DF's (not the X45's) and they are up there with the best set of rods I have owned....I keep going back to them. I've had top end Free Spirits (SXive) and Harrisons (Torrix) and keep going back to these. Currently using a 'lesser' rod but will be stepping up to the X45's very soon if a certain ticket drops through my door.

Think Esox maybe basing his comments on the 3 3/4 TC options and older DF which to be fair aren't the greatest playing rods.
The 3 1/4 X45 is a good balance IMO
If you need distance and throwing big solid bags then the 3 3/4 is a proper tool for that job but a little over gunned for playing pasties!!!!

Could say the same of any rod considering the akn 2.75tc was thought of as a broom handle by many when it was released.
The infinity df 3.25tc is the lady's version soon to be available with pink trim and a pink basia reel is on its way.
