Just to let you guys know that there's a fishing ban on all venues (private and public) in Belgium since 7pm tonight.

Hi Robbie , I have two mates fishing a canal in Belgium 🇧🇪, they left last Friday .

The police visited them and didn't want to know .

They are self isolating.

To the best of my knowledge only matches and the like are cancelled in holland (in accordance with general advice to avoid gatherings and a statement by the fishing board), recreational fishing is still free for all. To me that would mean sitting on of my special spots, only to be bothered by birds and insects with not a soul or a virus in sight. But don't take this as an invitation to all come here to get your fishing fix, since the policies change by the day. Personally i expect that holland will adopt the same regime as france and belgium by monday or thereabouts, but then again, pretty hard to predict what tptb deem necessary.

Hello Fred.
You on about Jonny Mac?
They're leaving home this morning.
Spoke to Jon yesterday and he's not taking the risk to get fined.
I'm packing up now as well, which by law i should have done yesterday evening already.
