I really like the look of the Wychwood Tactical bivvy and would buy one if i didnt think the Cayman was so good. Hate velcro groundsheets though (although i rarely use one). Nice to see someone bring out a simple & sensibly designed lighweight bivvy .... Its been a while since i see one

Does it just go up and down as a pram hood?. They never seem particularly fast to me. Looks smart though.

Yep only two breaks in the pole plus there anti twist.

does look decent, apart from a very quick carpology vid, the Wychwood marketing is crap, would love a full review somewhere. Even on their website it is one pic and thats it

Agreed I have a jrc tx extreme and as good as it is bivvy wise I end up not using the groundsheet because it's such a faff with velcro

Sorry wrong info guys it wasn't Velcro but toggles much quicker and the ground sheet doesn't move...

If was in the market for a new Bivvy then it would come from either Wychwood or Nash having chosen wisely many years ago I have two that do all I'd ever want and nothing since has tempted me.
