Bought myself a large zig float recently and Tried to use it this week. Had serious problems. Set it up as shown and had watched a few videos but once I got it up I couldn't get it back down (never been a problem before 😂😂 tried all sorts double checked set up etc. Any one else had this problem?

what weight lead where you using?

2oz as its a very silty lake

I'd say that's too light for the float mate. Try 2.5oz or 3.0oz

I use a pike sub float (Fox rage large from memory) and it needs 2.5oz minimum.

Okay mate thanks I'll try going for a medium zig float maybe as it's a smaller water 👍👍

Medium zig float and a 3oz lead. No need for a big float really.

I use one of these (fox sunk paternoster) in the large size and a 2.5oz lead works spot on.

I use a small 20lb length of line that the float rises on, always seems to work, even with a small float.
