My son is looking at getting a 10' set up like my Scopes but doesn't want to pay as much. He's looking at the Extractor 10' 3.25lb does anyone have any if so what are they like? More about the action, are they like broom handles? He really wants 3lb but they only do them in 9'

You could get the kodex kompact 9-10ft in 3lb for about the same money, its a 3 piece rod with an additional 1ft section. It has a good through action.

Just got a set and i was surprised how soft they felt compared to my 12ft 3.25's. Not used them in a fishing situation as my lakes flooded just wanted to see how they cast but they feel a lot nicer than i was expecting.

I have the 9ft 3lb xtractors and love them. I would recommend them to anyone.
