You get what you pay for.

Buy cheap and you'll get cheap base mix, buy expensive from a quality supplier and you'll get better bait as a result. You make your choice.

I know what I buy and it's not cheap but it gets results. Peeps wonder how I've gone to a hard lake and done so well on my first year outfishing many of the regulars....... I buy quality bait, not cheap base mix from a company not known for quality..........

It's really not that simple. Just because you pay more you don't necessarily get better, in some cases it's the opposite. Mainline springs to mind...

Cell is their biggest seller by some way, and it's not a great base mix with a good attractor package. Minimal nutrition for maximum price
