Some will love the fact it's just a characterless bomb hole

Did a few nights last spring/ early summer . As mentioned below but to add it was incredible weedy last year plus the water levels were right down . Caught a few and the fish seem to be in good condition but don't think I would rush back .
One other thing is it's rammed from Thursday to Sunday afternoon most weeks so if that's when you fish I wouldn't bother

Main lake suffers a fair bit from "ghost bivvies" too

I enjoyed a 24 hours session on the small Paultons lake with a mate. Had a few fish between us. The main lake was busy, windswept, and very low at the time. My biggest gripe was that for the amount they charge for tickets, you'd think they could afford to pay a cleaner to keep the toilets tidy. They were a disgrace

Just had a look at this place on Google Earth, wow looks like a match water the way those swims are spaced. No trees around the lake just open and Barron. But I suppose someone must like fishing there. Not a place I would visit.

A lot of lads like it for socials as i believe they allow people to be one swim off there rods which is a joke really when you consider how weedy it gets from spring on .
