Evening all,
Just bought new alarms and decided next thing on the list is a bivvy.
My issue with my current old Chub one is how low it is. I'm 6'3 and bending in and out is taking its toll. I also want something quick erect.
I like the look of the tempests but they're far too low for me. Looking at the 100T looks like it might be the ticket. I was in the tackle shop today and they had a Nash Titan Hide XL and it was great. Decent height, plenty of room, quick erect.. Seemed perfect.
I've never owned any Nash gear. I've never intentionally avoided it, it's just never ticked the right boxes for me. Can anyone offer advice?
Anything else to look at?

the New Quest 150cm would tick all your boxes and a LOT cheaper than the ones you have mentioned

Yep Nash titan hide xl is a cracking bit of kit I've had one since release and can't fault it

I'm 6'5" and had the same questions - I bought a Hide XL and it is perfect. Door height is spot on - no more crawling in and out of bivvies, plus it swallows my wide bedchair.

I use the new tempest 100t I'm 6ft 3 and this is perfect no more crawling into your bivvy and solid as a rock
I took a tape measure to the show today as im looking for something with a bit of height at the bivvy entrance. Without infill, the 100T and Titan T1 had the highest entrances at abour 140cm. Add the infill, with rolled up door and this dropped to about 130cm. The hide XL was more like 125 with infill and door rolled up.
On the flip side though, the T1 had an inner capsule that, when sat on the bedchair touched the top of my head. So, when i upgrade it will be the 100T

Yeah I think I'm going to go for the tempest for this reason and I like a peak so will get the skull cap.

The Trakker Superdome takes some beating for height and size, it has a big footprint but fits into most average size swims. I got one last year for longer sessions, but use it most of the time now, nice to be able to stand up in it, easily fits two beds and a lot of kit, good configuration with the doors etc. A very good bivvy!

Nash Hide Xl is fantastic, super quick to put up and really strong. Was out this weekend in pretty high winds with no problems at all. Have a look on ebay Official Nash selling page, they often sell them discounted.

Im 6'3 and just bought a tempest v2 xl from johnson ross and thats got stacks of room. There down to £499 with the new ones coming out as well. I put it up in the living room last week and it took 25 seconds to put up without the groundsheet so pretty bloody quick to erect. Stuck my wide solar bedchair in it and theres still stacks of room. Its still up there now as my daughter has decided its now her camp. Its dimensions are 320 x 250 x 145.

I just got a fox R series XL one man and it's great for me. I am only 5ft 9” so Nat nearly as tall as you but can stand straight up under the peak and nearly straight inside at the front. In fact it is higher than I expected. Only did two nights at the weekend but back was fine for the first time in a long time.
