Due to illness I have not fished for two years
My rods have gone slightly mouldy in the rod bag which was in a
wooden shed ,any advice how to clean them up?
Saddle soap is an option

Avoid silicone sprays just incase in the future you have them rebuilt, it depends what you want to achieve soapy water or t cut then use a non silicone car wax avoid the duplon though

Cotswold rods used to sell a rod care kit. Im sure ive got one in the garage somewhere.

If they have a gloss finish just get the Mr Sheen and a duster out, polish up a treat

Boil the kettle and steam the duplon handles if they are a bit marked n grubby. Brings em up a treat 👍

Fairy liquid, warm water and a dish cloth. Use a nail brush on the handle's.
