I was thinking about using this bait this year as I have lost my bait freezer now we have moved. I really didn't want to go down the shelf life route but these seem to be highly recommended and maybe a decent alternative to frozen.
I really am unsure about not using frozen baits as I always have done. Has anyone got any experience of using these short term shleflife baits and have concerns about their quality? (like me)

It's a major thing to get your head around and I had the same battle with it - I naturally default to frozen bait, but Jay's bait are really, really good and if I had to use nothing but his bait I wouldn't be worried at all. They are very different to the awful things a lot of companies used to churn out years ago and Jay properly knows his onions.
I tend to stock up on one of his baits at the start of the year to keep a few kg in the car for those sessions when they want a bit of bait, to save always taking loads of my usual freezer bait and risking it going off. When I use it I catch every bit as much as I do on the freezer baits.
Wasp and Plum Zing are well proven and have caught some proper tricky fish - you can use them with 100% confidence. I'd suggest buying some and taking it to a runs water to help get your confidence up. Also good if you've got an out of bounds or unfishable ‘safe' area on a harder lake where you can feed them and watch them eat it... when you can see them wolfing it down it puts the mental block about them being ‘shelfies' out of your mind once and for all!

Used the lost formula all of last season and caught wherever I used it, not that these were hard lakes by any means but from day ticket bashing to one fish in 24 hours if you're lucky waters it served me well. I have never been a boilie angler in the nearly 30 years of carping but I fancied a change. These were recommended and I'm glad I have em a bash. They'll be an order going to jay in a couple of weeks I imagine.
I've even converted my old man who's about as anti boilie as they come, but I wound him up to often when I started using them and he was struggling while I was catching. The look on his face when I caught using them for the first time from an unflavoured area was amusing. What was not amusing was him raiding my supply.

The A bait is rolled by ABS in Sandwich so you can confidently look at the ABS bait as well, their both quality, you just need to find the bait that works best at your venue.

Great bait at sensible prices. Not using it anymore as prefer freezer bait but that ain't knocking any shelf life's. My one and only small criticism is jay does like tweaking baits some baits can be slightly different one year to the next. Not necessarily a bad thing

What is it you favoured with the freezer baits? I've always used freezer, but have been contemplating a good quality shelf life fo convenience more than anything. The A Bait was on the list.

I've just always used freezer baits maybe it's a confidence Thing, Having said that if In the future I loose freezer space I'd be happy to use most shelf life's now, gone are the days of the marbles 😂
