Hi guys well after a few years of abuse my trusty shimano 5500 xtc are showing excessive play in the rotor so in two minds weather to send them for a service or retire them for a newer type reel thoughts also idea of reels to go for on 10ft rods cheers

Recently put a bearing in my Okuma reel. Dead simple and cost about a fiver possibly a bit less.
Small good quality bearing are cheap as chips from a bearing factor, or over the internet if you measure the original.
