Looks like we're in for another wet and wild one this weekend! Anyone planning on heading out?
11 degrees, wet, 990mb and 30-60mph south westerlies in February? Yes please! Off out for the first two night session I've done in years and cant wait...just going to take plenty of dry clothes!

I was hoping to get out on the Yorkshire Ouse for some barbel chances before the season comes to and end, unfortunately the spots i've been fishing are under about 16 feet of flood water and unfishable
Was nearly 20 feet above normal earlier in the week 
and with Dennis coming along I don't envisage things will get any better! Think York/River Ouse 
I started sorting my carp gear out this week actually, ready for a spring/close season assault...

I'm out now and it's beautiful at the moment. I've set up in a nice sheltered swim that's surrounded by thick bushes and I've got a friendly little Robin that's keeping me company at the moment that's loves crushed boilies. I was out in storm Ciara last week and lost one just before I packed up another forum member caught a 38lb so I'll definitely be staying out until Sunday evening.

Had to cancel 3 night's staying in a lovely old pub in Bewedley from Monday. Planned on a bit of Roach/ Chubbing on the BAA lengths of the Severn around there. Getting tight for time now on the rivers. Good spell of dry weather please

Stronger winds than the last one here, out this morning putting a couple of panes in the wife's greenhouse before the winds reached their peak. It was fine with last weeks storm but maybe a slightly different direction.
I don't enjoy the windy conditions so not for me, I'll wait for more suitable conditions.
Good luck to the mad people though.

Starting to get a little lively now the winds have picked right up and its pouring down but nowhere near as bad as last weekend the winds are only going to peak at around 56mph where I'm fishing last week they were well over 60mph could barely stand up in it. The winds tomorrow will be dropping back down to 25mph by the afternoon just in time for when I'm packing up which is a bonus.
