Has anyone on here got one of the New Direction bait boat 2? I Can't seem to find many reviews on them anywhere?
I know they released a batch and sold out and will be putting more out in the spring, just interested in how they perform.

Yep I got my one beginning of this week gave it a test run over the lake today and am very happy with it am also looking at purchasing the auto pilot soon.

Yeah they are a very popular boat for the price range they sell out in couple hours once they advertise new stock of them on their website

I have had many different bait boats and this boat is excellent value for money. Once you get used to it its simple. The remote control is fantastic and can be comfortably held in one hand. The auto pilot is well worth the money as well and is a very easy to use. Its not the fastest of boats but it certainly is good value.
If you are connecting a Deeper Chirp + , do not buy the fishing rod style holder, its a pain in the arse ! They have just released a far better holder on Amazon https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B08M98DDWV
New Direction will be launching a custom case for the boat at the end of the year, as it currently does not come with a case.

No the ND2 boat starts at £499.99 for the basic boat then if you want autopilot that is £199.99 on top and they are now offering it with a deeper chirp installed that is when it's at the most expensive which I think is £800 plus the autopilot price on top

lol. Any info is scarce.
TBH it'll no doubt attract people thinking their going to get a decent boat cheap. Sadly I expect the expectations of buyers will not be met both for product quality and reliability but we'll see in time.

If you added a chirp to the RT4 (not that you can) you would be in for £2000.
Basic RT4 with Raymarine Dragonfly and X Pilot is over £2200 all day long
ND2 with all this is £1400 ish
