Thinking about attending my first carp show this year and was just wondering can you get items such as rods and bivvies at much cheaper prices or is it pretty much the same as you would pay online? Thanks

retailers would be mad not to do deals - what with market conditions and most companies online....

Out of interest, Stoneleigh and Farnborough are the same distance away from me.

Farnborough no question more dealers more competition
its a no brainer IMO but you must do your homework and know the online prices to beat
and YOU MUST HAGGLE to get the best deals and watch out for pick pockets at these big events

and watch out for pick pockets at these big events And also cars getting robbed, they watch for people dropping stuff off in their cars and going back in. Anything large I get the guys to put it to one side for me and collect when finished.

I've never been but going to Farnborough.
Is it all cash only? Nothing worse than seeing some deals and all I have is card?

Last one I went to at deitling kent was cash only
I wanted to pay by card as I didn't want to carry a lot of cash around with me
They had cash points but nahhhh never know who's been playing with them
