I've just bought one of these. Slept in it last night to try it out and it's brilliant .Problem is I can't get it back into the stuff sack. I'm sure it must have originally been vacuum packed. It has taken in so much air it's almost doubled in size. Has anyone managed to do this ? If so how?

Hopefully not teaching you to suck eggs but are you trying to roll it up and then put it in or are you 'stuffing' it in?
Only reason I ask is I spent hours of wasted time trying to roll a Sundridge Heat Control bag back into it's stuff sack, this bag looks no different apart from being camo.
The day I realised just stuffing it in was a great relief.
I now use one of these and can get my whole sleep kit in it, sleeping bag, bedchair cover, pillow and even some spare clothes.
It's BIG but I just stick it over my shoulder when walking to the swim.

Don't take this the wrong way but
The clue is in the name stuff sack!
Continually rolling in the same way will eventually cause creases and weak spots in filling, stuffing will be different every time and prevents this.

I wonder if they have put it in the 3 season bag by mistake I don't know if they are the same size email Gardner and see what they say one of there selling point was easy to get it in

Yes I have the same bag and don't use it through the summer, I treat it as a winter bag. I find it very easy to get back in the stuff sack and once in, compresses down quite a bit further with the compression straps. Start from the feet end, literally stuffing it in so it forces the air out through the hood. I also do this with the bag standing up, so I can push towards the ground while stuffing it in, this stops it trying to reinflate, for want of a better description.

Apparently Gardner had issues with the initial design of the stuff sack so they changed it to make life easier. They think I may have bought one of the original ones. They are sending me one of the new ones f.o.c in the new year. Hope it does the job.Must say I've always found Gardner to have good customer care. If anyone is looking for a new bag take a look at this one it really is good.
Update: Martin from Gardner sent me a new compression sack for the duvet plus. my bag went in stuffed , not rolled, easily in a minute or two. As well as being bigger the new design is a real improvement on the previous one. Big thanks to Martin for helping me out.

I bought a gardner waterproof carryall for my gardner plus duvet bag and it goes in there ok. The only downside is its 1 meter long so massive. Great quality bag for £22 mind.
