Does anyone know the situation with this lake currently?

I used to fish it a bit when it was day ticket, then it was bought and went syndicate, then I think I saw it was up for sale again a while back, for mega money with planning permission for a house.

Used to be good for a bite or two all year round.

I used to have a ticket on here its where I started my Night Fishing when I was 15. Love the place. Your right it got sold then made syndicate then sold again. I believe the new owner had built a brick toilet/shower block and a kitchen/lodge its alot of money for what it is though think hes charging £700 a year now.

I heard it was on a membership basis, (£200 a season) then "pay as you play" at £20 per 34 hours....might have changed again though?

I often go past when i am out on the bike and they have done a lot of work down there and with the clubhouse/toilet block and proper fencing it looks very smart and secure.....

wow £700 a year is big money, for a small pond that's busy if there's 5 on.

Does anyone know the current set up down at welham estate lake Leics these days? Is it still open to fish? Day ticket or syndicate? Owner and contact details? Looking around on the Internet there doesn't seem to be much information.

It's not presently being run as a syndicate or open access water with no plans to change this going forward...shame, as it is a lovely place.

There is a Welham Lake near Malton North Yorks that you drive through a golf course, not the one mentioned here
