im thinking that frogmore is the old spec lake at tanyards now run by different people ?

Yes. The 3 specimen lakes are now called Frogmore fishery. The other general coarse lakes are still
Known as Tanyards. Owned by different people now I think

i understand the access is also from a different location?

When I've fished Tanyard spec lakes in the past they've always been know for being really on/off week by week and proper moody. Sort of venue where you can you have an absolute dream session or blank when all the conditions are perfect with no logic behind it!

yes i thought so
was really asking if the lakes have changed since they have been taken over by new owners?

think i will venture down there for a session in the new year
will be one of my waters for next year

Yes speci lakes have new owners and new entrance just up from old entrance.

Absolutely the case.

I always found (though haven't fished there for some time now) that a few whole or chopped boilies or a very small mesh/pva bag did the trick tight to pretty much any margin did the trick.

And on speci 1 particles only for me.
