I was there in September 2018 and the water was very low making conditions difficult however, it was more of a holiday than fishing trip in our Motorhome, still managed to winkle 1 out though on an evening session.
It is a nice place to fish and generally spend time in a nice area.

Funny enough I've just booked a family camping holiday at the end of august to the campsite on the edge of the lake. The first thing I said to the wife is what can we do without to get the rods in..... Although might be time to invest in some nice 9fters so they pack down nice and small.
Seriously I was thinking of taking a bag of mixers and a floater rod and seeing if I can have a walk with the kids and stumble on some carp on the top at that time.
But got to suss a permit out as well.

Digging up an old thread I know but does anyone have any more info on this lake. We've shortlisted the Le Pin de Parasol campsite for our holiday this year but it will only work if there's decent fishing. Not looking for 50lb monsters but the chance of a couple of 20s would be good.

I fished it while on a family camping holiday at Pin Parasol. It's a big lake but does have plenty of fish. As ever, location is key. I ran out of bait so ended up using some rubbish from the Decathlon.
As the great man says...”Find em', cast to em', bait em' , catch em' “!
Good luck!!
