Well as I'm now a type 2 diabetic. I still have a sweet tooth. I popped into Sainsbury today. And I found a small tub of chocolate ice cream. About 2 servings. Cost £3. It wasint diabetic ice cream but dairy free and all the other stuff that goes with it. It turned out to be very nice and didint taste any differ from the normal ice cream. Just wondering if anyone else has this sort of ice cream or do you go for normal stuff.

Have you seen a dietitian?
You need to pay a lot more attention to the labels on whatever you buy now.
My son can't have lactose so we have to get him those type of ice creams, and a lot of them have higher levels of sugar than dairy ice cream.

The one I managed to get was sugar free. Took 10 mins to look threw which ones where high sand so on

A friend of mine tried some vegan Jude's ice cream and said they couldn't tell the difference between that and the normal stuff
