Hi all 
After watching the latest release from Korda, I have made enquiries about the Broome venue as it's on my doorstep. Just wondered what peoples thoughts are on the Embryo projects and fisheries.

As did around 500 other people... Glad I got my name down for broom before that was released. They are doing good work, the other big manufacturers should follow suit, after all who is going to sell much carp tackle if there aren't any carp left...

Well apart from fencing an otter in. Great work that! There was some good fish in there at one point too.

I can't see anything too bad about a project that protects fishing for future generations. All the ‘bosh' ‘get in' ‘ thank you my love' might get a bit tiring, but Danny could have ridden off into the sunset with his millions. Instead he's chosen to put his hand in his pocket and spend his own hard earned money fencing other clubs waters for no return and trying to produce quality safe angling venues that anyone can get into. I totally applaud him for that.
And as an added bonus it keeps him out of my waters.

Brilliant work. Other large carp businesses should help out too. Won't sell much tackle or bait if there's hundreds of lakes with little or no fish in them due to predation.

As others have said protecting the future of carp fishing cannot be bad! The team are doing a lot more for angling than a lot of the companies out there who are generating huge profits and should be following suit without question!

It certainly does. I have met Danny and this embryo business is no joke. He is passionate about it. Ever the consummate businessman, of course this will generate good pr for Korda but that is not the aim. He is already a rich man.
Other companies have done nothing comparable against our biggest threat. They deserve similar support from ourselves....none.

Imagine if two or 3 of the largest manufacturers got together & did a similar venture.... Not that it'll ever happen.

I genuinely believe he is doing for the right reasons, the problem with erecting fences around lakes is that it does put enormous pressure on the areas that can't be protected.

It's great to see a tackle manufacturer putting something back into angling. I read Danny's interview in Carpworld a couple of years ago when he first set it up and was very impressed by what he said.
I know you pay a bit of “carp tax” when you buy from any big manufacturer but with Korda I don't mind doing so now as I know some of it is benefiting the sport. If I'm getting a few bits and bobs from the tackle shop I will go for Korda now if there all fairly similar.
I think the others are missing a trick by not supporting this project as I'm sure I'm not the only person that feels like this.

Something we agree on....ive been saying it for years...
What impact are we having on the larger environment for shrinking the food source of an apex predator...what impact are we having by fencing out other wildlife whilst those enclosed are safe..
