I'd say that putin's comments about driving out neo nazis / far right sympathisers are perhaps just an excuse

I think that's a fair take Ocelot. I was just replying to your question as to why I was saying similar to Putin.
What I do find strange is the West pick and choose their Nazi boi's as it suits. I mean, look at the accusations being made by politicians, talking heads and the likes with their finger pointing and constant fear mongering about the threat of the nigh on non existent 'Far Right', yet here is a real example of Neo Nazis that are "making lists"... crickets or Putin is clearly mad and just making it all up.

Sometimes I think spinning up the nukes for a pre emptive tactical strike on Moskow would not be a bad thing as then we could have global thermo nuclear ☢️ war and cleanse mankind by taking us back to the Stone Age .
In reality when I hear the phrase that we are civilised it makes me cringe .
For two thousand years we have not really progressed from inflicting pain and war on our fellow humans .
Perhaps the solution would be to eradicate all carbon units from the planet as it seems mankind is just a virus 🦠
In just over 300 years mankind has turned a true miracle in the cosmos into a toilet 🚽.
So to sum up spin up the nukes and let's go to eradicate mankind as sooner or later it will happen not if but when .

Great book called prisoners of geography basically tells you why this is all unfolding... and to a extent fully predicted it.
For me the bigger question is why now? my guess is he is not well health wise (possibly terminally) and this is his punt to go down in history as the Russian who made it into the USSR again.
Also worth a read in that book as to why you would always want to be under the wing of the Americans when it comes to choosing sides....... there defence budget is more then the rest of the superpowers combined (until recently)
