Trakker armo and wrap ( nothing wrong with it)
1st Fox sup Brolly and wrap, Brolly doesn't leak ( again nothing wrong with it)
Brand new Jrc Sti 10,000 Brolly
Brand new Aqua M3 compact and wrap ( tried selling it )
Does it ever end

Was looking at the standard on in poingdesters a couple of hours ago, material looks very good and £450 is good for it as if you sign up as a gold member you'll get 10% off of that.

The Frontier X turned up this morning.
Not sure whether I'm used to a Tempest Advanced and it's tiny footprint but this seems feckin massive.
Its as heavy as carrying a body around
I think I've spent too long with my lightweight venture razor back. Not sure if this Frontier X is going to be too big for me. It feels like nearly a 2 man (and its def not the XD they've sent, I had a proper check.
I'll go out in it a couple of times, see what its like, if I can't get on with it, might be checking the Frontier (non X) for size.
Does everyone else think the X is normal for a 1 man tent?

This made me smile, like you I have recently bought a frontier x. Previous bivvy was a cayman and one before that a razorback. I wanted a bigger bivvy, I'm getting on now and thought I deserved some comfort. I've now done 4 sessions in it and I'm very happy..... That is apart from the weight, as you say like carrying a body around.
The size of the bag does not help, it was a puzzle how to fit it on the barrow. A comment on here helped, load the barrow then last thing on is the frontier, across the handles, works a treat unless you have narrow paths or in my case bridges to navigate but even then when positioned across the handles its easy to take off and carry for short distances.

For me it's the ideal 1 man foodprint, with a standard 205x80cm bedchair (i can fiannaly drop mu to heave oval levelite tall) i have on the sides room for : bivvy table, carryall, coolbox and a large dog bench + all the room under the bedchair
I always wanted a +150cm high 1 man so i was very happy with my Xd , when i saw the X in shop i was happy to see that it's not that low and much easier to set up than the XD, it dont feel like a 140cm high bivvy if you sit in it.
Also dont forget the X on the outside is still small 260x198 cm bivvy but with a top footprint, eg trakker 100 and Nash t1 have less space inside and take up more space outside

i recently bought a trakker 100 ev brolly (the new one) but with my new solar sleep system its not tall enough cant sit straight
So my question is, will the X be enought for a wide bed and a dog plus obviously all the kit ?

90cm bedchair + dog bench (mine = L80 x B 55 x H 60cm) is no problem in the X
I'm not that tall myself 173cm the X is much easier for me to put on than the Xd, if the xd size in no problem Xd are +180cm tall I would just take the Xd.
Will set up x groundsheet again tomorrow with all my tackle on it and take a picture of it
