Incorrect on both counts.
I know London reasonably well and used to cycle to and from work when I was staying over there, from Romford to Becton and Ilford the stores I was working at. I also used to cycle from Romford to Hyde Park and round it after booking in at the hotel on a Sunday.
It was quicker to cycle than relying on the Underground or other trains.
Heading away from London air? Olympic park is still within the London boundaries. In fact Stratford is one of the busiest London boroughs for business and retail.

My nearest supermarket, petrol station and pharmacy is 13 miles from my house. So based on your fecked up logic, that's not local? Maybe I should shop online and get someone to deliver my medication, thus tying up resource that's needed elsewhere for the more deserving.

I like the guy from Eastbourne that traveled to Newquay to surf the Cribbar as it was his “local big wave”

I hope you kept to the 5mph speed limit, and managed to avoid the pets, pedestrians, scooters and skaters
If you stick it in the lowest gear and peddle at 250rpm you might manage to get your heart rate up
Until you get cut up by a mobility scooter
big jump in air quality too
Stratford is still pretty rough but miles better than Central london, and it makes a huge difference to your capacity to push yourself

Some of the folk who live around the lakes in MK are a funny hoity toity bunch... Big mega bucks houses on semi private estates with a nice watery vista. Im guessing its a local resident who called it in to MKAA/Police etc. Would I grass em up....Nope. As much as I want to get out and about either fishing or on my bike, I stay what i consider local..upto 5 miles or so.This severely restricts the above two activities but I really dont fancy taking a chance and driving to my syndi 20 odd miles away just for a day.The mere threat of a hefty fine doesn't appeal..
