Don't have a link but a French lake owner I know has posted up something from a French website that just says any quarantining measures that come in will be only for French people returning from the UK

The two lads i work with that came back from spain both of them and their wives received one call each at separate times.
one of them had his mobile in another room and didn't even answer and didn't hear anything else from them, the only reason he knew was he rang the number back and got an automated covid reporting line which he just hung up from, his wife got a call the following day

Have the French imposed any quarantines yet? Just read that there are now 21 departments in the red zone.

Question please- I'm a UK resident. - If I have 2 trips to France and they are separated by one week back in the UK. Is that possible? Or do I have to do 2 weeks quarantine in UK after the first trip and therefore lose the second trip? Or is the quarantine just for the duration of my stay back in the UK?
Obvious solution I know is to stay in France for the middle week, but that's not an option for most...
Any factual answers rather than any supposition would be appreciated...
Thanks

Pretty sure you have to quarantine for your period of stay back in the UK, so only 1 week, but 2 weeks after your 2nd week. Enjoy your holidays!

I phoned the helpline with some questions and one was this one, he told me you only need to quarantine for the duration you are in the uk if it's less than 14 days, between the trips.

Same rule applies for French or UK residents.

It appears that the France is now not ruling out another lockdown as their Covid numbers are spiralling..

There is no differance between England and France having a full lockdown Macron is not calling for a full lockdown, here in France, it is no differant than to England, LOCAL LOCKDOWNS, Certain departments have restrictions on movement etc, but are not locked down.

Over 20 regions now with red category, could well be another full lockdown, have you seen the number of cases lately? Now up to a level not seen since the 31 March, worrying, no doubt we will soon be following the same course.

Death rates down. Hospital admissions down. ICU numbers down. More testing now so larger numbers of positive test results will emerge. France were testing around 80,000 a week at the height of the pandemic, it's now 800,000.

This is the problem, people just read the headline and not the full story. Scaremongering at its best.
