I would imagine they are going wait until the waters warmed up, more people are out on the bank and a lot more fishing is being done with it, to get a better idea of what it's actually like. My guess would be you'll see it on general release ready for the big autumn munch up.

Bare in mind you are pretty much using a finished bait anyway. It's not like if you called abs and said “I think it needs a bit more x or y that they are going to change their mix. This isn't a bait development stage, this is bait testing so it must be pretty much ready to go as it is.

Just had an 18lb common on Matts pink Plum n squid and black mamba bottom bait again as a single. Only been here an hour and lake is fishing 'hard' apparently. Just put some of the test bait in but I've kinda mixed it with hydra k on the other spots.
It's a little bit light in colour for me to use on it's own (darker baits have been working for me recently) but we will see, a mix of dark and light. The actual bait is lush can't see my Mr carp wouldn't want to eat it if it's in the right place

Do you consider the K a dark bait?

I have had a couple on it so far. The tutti is what really stands out with it to me

Yup all coming together at the moment.
Had 7 fish since new years in 3 sessions smallest 18lb biggest 40lb
Sorry 4 sessions 😉
Not blanked yet. Had more fish than all of last year put together and 3 fish were bigger than anything I've had in 5 years on this lake!

Sounds all very good. Can you guess the composition of the bait? Nut based or fishmeals, birdfood? I know it is not for everyone, but did you try to taste the bait yourself?

Carbohydrate type bait as Geoff calls them, milks, some tiger nut flour, liquid chocolate flavour and tutti fruity some kind of new digestion aid that breaks down the protein of the bait I believe.
Are you sure?
