I'm not mate, i just hope the 12/0.32 is a bit more to my liking compared to the 15/0.38. My only interest in the new was if it was thinner at the same breaking strain which appears not to be the case. The age of a shop bought spool doesn't bother me either, as long as it's not a window/display spool.

😀👍🏻 yes its all a bit confusing. I did mean the new stuff but i imagine the bobco stuff is the same, but no idea really. Does mono degrade over time as the bobco one will be quite old i would think but i dont think it makes any difference if its out of direct uv light and in its packaging.

Recieved my spool of the 12lb from Bobco today. I can see it shares similarities with it's bigger cousin the 15lb just scaled down, though that is straight off the spool so probably a little stiff at the mo, would benfit from a bit of working but I much prefer it to the 15 as is, time will tell in use though from other peoples experiences it'll be a goodun.

You could just buy a couple of spools every spring, decide you don't like it and stick it straight in the classifieds, that'd work nicely. Lol

A big long shot here, does anyone know the weight of/or have a empty spool that the 12lb Technium comes on (without shroud) that they could weigh for me please?
I bought a spool of 12lb of Technium and can confirm it's the same as the stuff I bought a couple of years ago.
£5.29 delivered and it came really quickly.
I left Bobco positive feedback on ebay, it seems a few of us on here have bought this line but I've only noticed one other person leaving positive feedback.
Not just fishing tackle but it seems the to be norm on ebay nowadays, people are quite willing to receive a bargain and great service on ebay but don't have the common courtesy of thanking someone.

You're not wrong, it's very poor, I could be wrong but manners seem to be old fashioned, I bet if there was a thumbs up it's get used more often. To be fair quite a few sellers do it to, it's got to the point I won't leave feedback until I receive it.
I might have ordered another spool of it, too good to miss at that price even as backing

I always leave positive feedback. My 3 spools arrived yesterday and ive just bought another 3. Absolute bargain that. Even the postage is stupidly cheap at 29 pence for 3 spools. Not sure where they get that price from as it would cost at least £3 to post.
