There is tonnes of nasty stuff going around right now mate. Everyone is ill, even those who have not had a recent vaccine. I think being locked down and none of us getting any of the normal mild **** for the past two years has done this to us.
My 70 year old mother had all three shots... Not a single symptom. My 73 year old aunt exactly the same.
Whereas my first two shots mullered me. I could not use my left arm properly for a long while after the first shot. I'm not looking forwards to the third... But I will have it nevertheless. The vaccines have irrefutably worked up until now. The trouble is a novel mutating virus will mutate around our anti-bodies and vaccines. That's why it's so dangerous in the first place. It should not make you want to give up mate, it should make you see even more, just how dangerous this is for us all in the long run.

It's a needle into the muscle mate. I am not used to medication, I normally take nothing whatsoever. It really did feel like a dead arm for a while. That was not the shot, it was the needle stuck into the muscle... Something I've never experienced before, despite being stuck with needles into veins hundreds of times before for blood. It's very different, that needle going into muscle like it has too for a vaccine.
I'm off to mow down old ladies in my Merc/tank too, it sounds like great fun that one .
It's cold, ****, and ****ing totally miserable here mate. I'm absolutely gutted that I'm back if truth be told. All the smiley happy people and the sunshine are gone... Everyone here has the raging ump constantly
I'm in quarantine until my day 2 PCR results come back negative. Even though I had to have a negative PCR two days ago to fly. As soon as they let me out... Those old dears better watch it!

I get what you say Mark and understand your train of thought but when will it all be over though? Please don't say once everyone is vaccinated as that is simply not true and the virus will still be killing people, vaxxed or unvaxxed.

I do agree that ther has to be a balance of prevention and immunity via infection though. The number of people still shouting for lockdowns is crazy. The difficulty is that the immunity from natural infection route involves lots of people dying, so governments can't really be open about that.

Of course it's not going to be over when everyone has been vaccinated Wayne. The virus just mutated around our antibodies and the vaccines. So far it's lucky for us that all it's strength went into the mutation around them, and the actual sickness effects are so far milder... But it also transmits more strongly. That will not be the case next time it mutates Wayne. It already bypassed our antibodies and the vaccines, which regarding the vaccines will take 100 days for us to tweak. If this new variant mutates again quickly... We could all be in serious trouble Wayne.

In that city 98% 1 shot, 93% 2 or 3 shots... 100% adult mask wearing from day one, even outside on the street. They all respect it... They have it totally under control. In Fortaleza people are living completely normal lives except wearing a mask and all getting their jabs. By EVERYONE respecting the simple rules.... They have it under control and are living normal lives. You people who will not comply, you are sending us down a very different path to that here in the UK... Where they are now going to force you to comply I think. This is a first world phenomenon. It's rife in Europe, the US & Australia. Everywhere else have no problem complying. The nations mentioned above, now have a very serious problem with swathes of people not complying when it's needed. We live in a totally free society... Where within reason we can do whatever the **** we want. That brings serious problems now when something like this happens. No one wants to be told what to do anymore... They resist to it. That's dangerous in a global pandemic that could wipe out half the planet.

Yes it's a tiny tiny amount who have died but when its happening to fit healthy 30 - 40 somethings who would have been fine catching Covid naturally it just convinces me more that mandatory vaccines for over 60s should be in place and let the world get back to some kind of normal......
