You do and for once its exactly the same as on the reel,Shimano used to put a horrible different colour spool as the spare on a few models

Don't know when they are available, but due to price, they won't be available to me unless heavily discounted. Which is very unlikely

Picked up another Tech XTC last week from a well known shop; guy told me bout the new Tech's that they're more than likely won't be in the shops before Christmas due to the cobblers going on with imports. How true that one is is anyone's guess.

Anyway, the new ones look well s4it with all the Jimmy Savile jingle jangle going on...best looking ones so far are the XTC's in my book.
