Hi

Not really no. Soya flour definitely helps with rolling. The difference between the 2 forms is minimal.
No doubt people will have their preferences. The original mix was made by the lads at Colne valley baits. Pete started to reccommend it and hey presto, it was attributed to him. His 5 minutes of fame has turned into 20 years and well deserved as his bait knowledge is great.

it is a great functional mix and one that i and many many others have used with great success.

Hi Dean,

Good to see you back in the saddle. I won't ask how you managed it.
I've not been on the bait forum much lately. Not been topics that I could contribute to.
I've mostly been battling with the enemy on the Coronavirus thread.
I can see that this virus and lockdown couldn't have come at a worse time for your start up.
Hope you're managing OK.

Hi Ian

I hope you are well. It has hit everyone hard my friend. I am not even going to give you my opinion on it.
Stupid or not i actually advised people to save their money for their families during this crisis and look after them as family comes first. The carp will always be here.

Who is enzyme?

Hi John,

I missed the business with Enzyme too. The name caught my eye and I noticed he had made loads of posts in a short space of time, so I looked at his profile and saw he had been banned. I read his posts and they reminded me of a member on the black forum who joined, then made loads of posts, then fell out with other members, and got banned for abuse. I can't remember his username, but he too, said he was a rod builder and a balliff and posted a lot on rigs and tackle. At the time, it was said, that he was well known for being banned from forums, so it seems Enzyme might be the same bloke.

Just buy it all from one supplier. Belachan is cheaper at the Asian supermarket than at CC less.

Any suggestions for Vecon alternatives as my local H&B has stopped stocking it? Before I order some online was curious as to whether there are good alternatives available from supermarkets/asian shops. I'm using liquid belachan already so looking for something to complement that. I was wondering about a vegetable bouillon powder perhaps?
