I have bought these pop ups and some, not all have been great. I was disappointed when he closed down even though I thought his reasons were a bit of a joke.
I see people comparing it to basias etc. This is totally missing the point. Alot of decent carp items are well made and deserve the price tag due to the actual cost to design and manufacture. Unfortunately, a few companies have exploited this with cheap Chinese imports with a high rrp. The baitroom is no different now and he should be ashamed. It can't cost him more than £3 to £4 a Kilo and he is charging basically £1 a pop up.
For the sake of the industry I really hope people see through this pure greed. I for one would never buy off him again.

As he rightly says if you don't like it move on which I have now ... Actually I've worked out of his theory of the value I'm sitting on about £600 worth of popups & wafters

Just watch other bait makers follow suit.
I currently seem to pay up to about £15 a tub of pop ups without blinking an eye. Ive no idea how it snuck up that high.
Thinking about it, Id happily pay £100 a pot if they guaranteed me a nights sleep with no bream.

Makes me laugh all the bum chums acting like his little flavored floating balls are the Holly grail and that he is some type of god or godfather of the bait world better bait out there for less he is pulling a few peoples pants down at that price then he is saying stop the hate or I will close the site and just sell them on ebay for a lot more

I'd love to fish em side by side with plastic corn
But couldnt bring myself to pay stupid amounts of hard earned cash
I'd like to believe a bait could be so good , but now settle for good baits at
sensible prices
That's the thing with fishing , half the fun is planning the next trip , the next cunning plan
The next batch of bait , the next baiting strategy , the next snake oil potion 🎣😂
