only thing is set an alarm on your phone for 6 hours then re apply it and you wont get bitten its proven to be as effective as Deet and for some insects even superior prices vary
I buy mine in bulk here link below
sounds expensive 6 bottles for £55.49 but when it should easily last over a year bite free its cheap
when I fished in Thailand the swim where I fished had a ditch 20 ft behind me full of stagnant water the mozzies were unbelievable
the guys either side of me next day looked like they had been shot with shotgun and they turn nasty so much so they all moved over the other side of the lake
and we bagged up top catches every day except the last day big smile !
I never had a single bite all the time I was there mind you I did have the full monty the Incognito shampoo and soap too
fished in 6 different countries used every thing you can think of thermacell ,light zappers ETC included
nothing worked quite as good as it as you could walk anywhere and not get bit they usually go for the thinnest skin ankles wrist etc
and Incognito has worked 100% me and everyone thats fished with me SCROLL down when it loads LINKY POO

The first night he never got touched but his mozzie zapper was full in the morning,the second night he got battered.The second night his mozzie zapper perhaps needed a charge as it wasn't as bright,it also rained so maybe they took shelter in his bivvy.He had bites on his arms ankles,elbows and bottom of his back,they looked really itchy too.I tried not to laugh too much

mozzie zapper`s are good to a point
but about as much use as a chocolate fireguard if you walk away to your rods or go for a pee they will nail you UNLESS you got a spray on
also they are not the be all people think they are in a bivvy either as the light is designed to attract them it does
but not all will be killed and you only need a couple again if you have no spay on you get nailed
as I always bang on about something I passionately believe is the best
Incognito spray is the only really perfect solution as you can walk away anywhere and your protected the only thing you can knock it for is you need to re apply it every 6 hours not what the bottle says

I think they are as norm, they love me. Personally I am seeing a lot more horseflies of which one has made an absolute mess of me last time out. Interested to find a repellant for them and considering they can bite through clothing, I don't hold out much hope.

I've noticed the over abundance of Horse Flies too, hate the dammed things!
After working on a new section of wild River backings, I was shocked how many of the swine's had managed to bite me without me knowing. Saying that I probably got bite because of being truly focused on the Giant Hog Weed I was removing - now that stuff is seriously dangerous!
Is there any deterrent for Horse Flies?

They really are nasty, so much so, my mate thought I had been bitten by a spider of some sort.

It was the first couple of sessions treating it, but it was so hot with all the PPE on dehydration was a problem.
Found just avoiding the stuff (Not as if you can miss it) and then spraying the areas with it in afterwards seems the safer option.
~ Know it's about time the authorities started to take it a lot more seriously, and got it eradicated once and for all, before some kid gets seriously burnt from it.
