The price of these bags now make it not worth the money imo,you can get the snugpak fortis for similar money if you shop around

Paid £120 for mine, cheapest I could find the Fortis at the time was £220, how anyone can say the original ventec isn't a much warmer bag I don't understand as many used to say they found it too warm. The latest ventec has been re sized .

The original ventec was the warmest bag I have ever used,it was massive to pack away though.The Gardner bag is now close to £200 I paid that for my dpm fortis bag

I paid nearer 100 quid for my carp duvet compact and that does me in all but extreme cold delights,I bought the sleeping bag cover for 59.99 and throw than on when it's really cold and I've never once been cold withbthat combination....I didn't realise the carp duvet had gone up that much in price.

I had the original ventec,by far the warmest bag I've used but sold it as way too bulky

Ive been using a gardner duvet compact bag for 3 years. The compact fits nicely on my trakker levelite els.
The standard size must be enormous and would do a very big bedchair.
I find its warm enough until temps dip below 5 degrees. Then i simply add a bedchair cover and its warm as toast even in minus temps.
Great versatile bag, only slight niggle is the zips snag a lot.
