Gerry, like you I keep the front open on my bivvy and cook outside when I can. Never had a problem with condensation. If you must keep the door shut and cook inside you will get water vapour and and condensation. Also risk of carbon monoxide poisoning keep it well ventilated and you shouldn't have problems.
