If it's who I think it is (I'm probably wrong), he turned up on my works business page on social media, just after I joined this forum and someone had guessed who I was. I had to delete his comment, he was trying to advertise his own thing you see.
I supposed that it's like dogs a bit, I came to 'his territory' as he saw it, and wee'd on a lamppost. So I suppose he needed to do the same. Thing is, I've made hundreds of posts on his lamppost, not mentioned anything like 'that' about my thing. He made one post on my lamppost, and had to mention his thing. (to get a bit of free advertising).
Ah well, as the kids say... Bothered.
I have another funny story for you. There's a bloke, who used to terrorise forums (this one included I'd bet). He follows me around when I post on social media to do with work. He's always got a funny little quip or comment. Never met the bloke, but he's fixated on me obviously. Fishing is a funny old game, and it attracts all sorts. So does the internet.
Three years ago, there was six different users on Facebook using one of my fishing photographs as a profile photo. Four were English, two were European based blokes. One was a customer of mine it turned out, so i put that down to he must of liked me or something. I have zero clue why the other five had my photo as their profile picture, none at all. Why would you? SSV1 is my only guess, it was mainly a photo from that. But I'm clueless really.

I just bought ecwcs gen1 trousers and jacket. Couldn't find Tennier in my size (medium short) so went for Tennessee apparel corp, which I hear are also very good, and are made to the exact same spec with same materials are Tenniers gear.

No that was the customer mate. He was spending a lot of money, so he could do what he wanted basically

There's an ECWCS Tennier industries jacket on that link. It looks in okay nick. It's a Large/long. It says it has a proper repair to one seam inside.
If I was looking for a waterproof jacket, and that size fitted me... I'd make them an offer for that one, probably get it for 45 notes. It's the only UK one on there right now. Loads in the US, some look in excellent nick, but expensive postage. Wash it in plain water, in the machine, it will be as good as new. They last forever.

I recommend people check out eBay in the US, I bought one in almost new condition for 50dollars.
Yes, there's a shipping fee, but there's many more to choose from and a lot of new old stock, or barely used ones.

So I totally agree about US Ebay. I'd pay the high postage for a mint nick one if I needed one, they sort the customs payment to. Everyone might not have the money like us though. If I only had £50 to spend, I'd buy that jacket hands down. It's so much better than anything else for £50.
