Regarding this thread I have watched with interest .
Obviously would never bother with anything like the twig as I have never been that desperate .
Hardly ever drop fish , and very rarely struggle .
I'm just so enthralled how this piece of tackle has gripped the carp world with utter contempt for Ali and his I'll conceived product .
Well that's my slant on it so look forward to seeing this go past the 1000 mark .

At the risk of going off topic I'm thinking of buying a 13ft 3.5lb.5lb set of rods. The korda Kaizen are 3 tines the price of the Gardner Covert rods. Are they 3 times better? I doubt it. BTW the Kaizen rods are being reduced on the ebay site I'm watching so maybe they aren't selling so well.
