I was in the Netherlands this weekend visiting the oldest boy no time for fishing but found a few to watch for a while in the parliament buildings lake in the Hague between 20 to 30lb at a guess one was a long fat pig.
Edit: anyone using Schipol airport in the not too distant future be prepared for long a long wait for security, literally two scanners were open took nearly three hours from joining the que to putting our bags through.

My personal view is we should have saved 6th June as the second Bank Holiday, in recognition of the D day landings, which are equally as important as the Platinum Jubilee.
I fished much of last week.
I had a job interview last Monday and start this week, induction day tomorrow, so fished Tuesday to Saturday after helping my dad with a few bits Tuesday morning.
Saw the fish, but for some reason they were very cagey. It could be because they were in the margins. Lowered a bait in on them, but they totally ignored it.
