One word, desperate

Posted a while ago, my mate was fishing a water and a lad came running round to him, can you take me a picture, it's only a 12lber but I'm sponsored by x bait company and I need a picture, my mate said, **** off, being a genuine kid he would have helped him out no bother

It really is a sad state of affairs and I question why a lot of people are really in the pastime, the image?

The only good news, there is always some secondhand tackle for sale.

I fished a chain of pits in Kent some time ago, enyway our future super hero stooped so low in his pursuit of greatness it was cringworthy, he had his merry followers cheap bait and a t shirt, stroke puller , he turned up Friday night regular and wanted to double up with enybody in a good swim, lucky enough I wouldn't be seen dead on such lakes now, lm lucky

I don't get the need to weigh and/or photo every fish. I will just guestimate a rough weight of most, and photo a particularly nice looking one ,or my first fish from a new venue. I get when your a newish carp angler weight might make a difference to you, but when youve had enough fish of a certain size you can guess what it weighs to within a reasonable amount. Exceptions may be for keeping track of how stockies are doing
