I've been working next to a bypass through a small town and the amount of bikers and boy racers about is ridiculous there's no way they were on essential journeys

It's common sense that's the problem.
If golf and fishing were given the go ahead there would be pandemonium. You can't get a swim at a lot of day tickets on a normal weekend by all accounts, imagine the influx of ‘anglers' and ‘golfers' if they were allowed to open..
People are queuing for kfc and Costa for hours, just like they were flocking to bike shops. Because it's all that's open and they're eager to spend the wages the government are giving them to stay the **** at home

I agree with you, as much as i miss fishing and i am desperate to get out on the banks i dont think its right for leisure sports and activities to open before the majority are allowed safely back to work.

I get some people are bored sat at home but at least they have been given the opportunity to try and keep themselves and family safe, some of those have clearly not done and put others at risk.

There are plenty of people that have had to work throughout this in high risk jobs that are putting there own lives and family members lives at risk just to help others and give them the chance to stay safe yet some wont even do this.

I have worked throughout this and I am desperate to go fishing as are most of us. However as has been said the 6 million people that are being paid to stay at home are being done so to reduce the infection rate. I hardly think it's fair if they are allowed to go out fishing, golfing , windsurfing or whatever hobby they have in their spare time. Imagine how the keyworkers will feel they are working harder than ever and the rest of the country have an extended holiday. Would cause total chaos in my eyes it's not all about the safety factor.

Queuing and shopping at supermarkets are a far worse scenario than fishing or golfing with a common sense approach.
Same as building sites.
Put the common sense restrictions in place, and there's no problem.
Or are you saying we shoudn't be able to got supermarkets ?
Most of the increased traffic on the roads are VANS.
As a country we need to get back to normal as quick as possible.
Get real. Try and be a bit more open minded and more positive.

I'm a keyworker. I don't give a f$k , as long if people go out and use common sense.
Fishing, golf, windsurfing, running etc. can be done with common sense.
If you're out on a fkin boat in the middle of the sea .. goddamnit wake up!
If they are not coming into contact with people what the F%%k does it matter?

Sports and hobbies are a pastime, shopping for food is a necessity i think there is a big difference.
