If we do stay up then i think challenging for a top 6 spot in 5 years time is realistic but theres more chance of liberachi coming down from outer space on a golden banana boat than us challenging for the premiership title in next few years. Its not just the team thats **** its everything from the training ground right the way through that needs overhauling, It will take years. Getting campos or emanelo in as our director of football would be a huge step in the right direction. I would say 95% of our fans think the same way as me but theres always that 5% who have had far to many brown ales that think we will win the league next year but there all a bit mentally unstable.

Nowt wrong with a pint of brown ale
Sounds sensible what you are saying. I would have thought they want it NOW!
Time is the test for anything I guess. They have some proper financial backing now though by the looks of it?

Everyone would love it now but what you want and whats realistic are two very different things. Personally ive never liked brown ale if im honest. The new owners seem to have a plan and sounds like they want to do it the right way and like you say the funds they have are bottomless. I know there governed by how much they can spend on players but they can spend what they like in renewing the academy and training facility's and it would be great to see some home grown young talent coming through. I few more gazzas and beardleys coming through the ranks would be fantastic.

He was sent to rangers to learn his trade as there is no doubt liverpool want him as klopps successor , if it goes wrong at villa and it probably will then i cant see it happening, I watch alot of scottish football and the gulf between it and the premier is huge , he will struggle with villa .

Agreed
I'm hoping he does well there but after selling grealish they've really struggled this year.
He should've held out a few weeks for the man utd job...
