£300m for a premier league club, isn't that cheap? Man City subs bench costs more than that.

That would be my first port of call. St james park is in need of a lick of paint and our training ground and academy is like that of a league one team so that needs bulldozed and rebuilt. Was watching an interview with amanda stavely earlier on the local news and they plan to rebuild everything from the bottom up. They certainly have the money to do it. The reuben brothers have loads of propert in the city from casinos, to pubs etc so they already had a vested interest in the city already. They sound like they are going to do it all properly and hope to win the premiership within 5-10. I will believe that when it happens mind but things certainly sound promising.

Depending on how much the new owners have to spend on new players they could go for Pep Guardiola who's contract runs out in 2023. Good manager but he needs lots and lots of money to succeed.

Ashley run it as a business, as mentioned, minimal debt, just his salary lol, not like the rest of the Premiership, shower of ****

Around 35 million profit in 2019 before Covid hit, now many clubs can say that. I bet he is laughing like **** now 300 million!

Shrewd business man, wonder if he has retained a season ticket and box, I hope so

Yep

And his astute business approach means that the new owners can spend about 200 million on the squad before there's any ffp concerns..

I expect a phone call to rafa might be in the near future...

Keep reading that Newcastle can spend 200million without breaching FFP rules, that's 2 maybe 3 top class players, but that still means they've got at least 8 **** ones still in the team, they can't buy till January and they could well be in a relegation fight.
Mind you they playing us next so they could have their tails up for that one
Are you sure?
