As for the penalties, don't know if it's a chip on their shoulder or what, trying to be fancy, should have been like Kane's, full power, bottom corner
Overhaul a decent tournament for me for a change and we should have won that. Another set of tournaments for Southgate for me but he needs to sort the attack out otherwise, same as
Kane should have been with Chealini, up front leading all the time. Can't see how he fits in with two whippets either side of him myself, especially when he is dropping deep ffs, great fisniher but pace is not his game, it's Kane plus one up front for me or 3 whippets up front. We should have and could have pissed those Wops, everybody could see that goal coming ffs

Agreed said to my son we need to revert to a back 4 at half time but he left it too late IMO.
However, i was happy to just get out the group stage so to get to the final was a great achievement.
I only hope that Southgate's choice for penalty taker's doesn't stick with them. He needed experiance
at that point.

the ones that roll around on the floor after the slightest touch then jump up and run to celebrate with team mates when they score after faking injury.I said Italy would win it from the start Mancini has done an amazing job but credit to England it was the first final in 55 years and when we went at them they looked vulnerable.We sat back too much in the 2nd half 71% possession to Italy tells you that but we still had chances to win it.What I want to know is who would you lot like to see managing the national team,I like Southgate he has given the youngsters a chance and not picked players because of their names.

Italy were the better side, we scored early then had a little 5 minute spell before dropping back too deep, 2nd Half Italy controlled the tempo, passing about and always a blue shirt in space, we on the other hand when we got possession, there was half a dozen passes either across or back, always under pressure and then pass back to Pickford to hoof the ball upfield, this is bread and butter to the Italians I don't think we bothered them too much until late into extra time, as for the penalties Rashford what a **** up, that stupid stutter step, keeper goes the wrong way and he hits the post, he only had to roll it between two sticks, cold or not, as for the youngsters being given the penalties, they were all brought on with penalties in mind, 😡

The irony is that some of the idiots doing it - and those who defaced the Rashford wall art in Manchester - possibly got meals provided for their kids because of his work bringing our **** government to task on food poverty.

We may have lost last night but it was amazing around here seeing people on the streets singing,dancing and setting off fireworks.This tournament gave most people a lift after all the covid situation.They got to the final and they should be hugely proud of that
