On my journey out of London this afternoon, I saw a pub open in twickers and the usual fishing taking place along the M3. Standard practice tbh every weekend atm.

Clapham common was f*cking heaving with people early this afternoon.
Loads of police chatting around the snack wagon by the pond in the morning getting breakfast.

I live at the arse end of the world.
Bad news is that I've always had to travel a fair distance for my carp fishing, opting to do a few days each time rather than weekly trips to get my fix.
Good news is that I live in a lovely area which is in a protected National Park area with lots of SSSI's.
Strange thing is that due to being rural we have not been greatly affected byCovid 19. However, the small towns and villages are deserted and the roads are empty.
So I look on with great disbelief as people in built up areas and big cities like London and Birmingham seeming hell bent in breaking social distancing. I accept if your on a big estate or in a high rise with kids it's difficult, but is everyone blinkered to the dangers?
I reiterate...I'm extremely lucky and I know it, but some of the things we are seeing in large parks and beach's are scary.
