Farmfoods do a fantastic 1.2kg pack of mildly steamed chicken slices for £5.

Absolutely delicious and due to been frozen will help out that icebox in the summer months as you're tucking into a defrosted pack.

Lidl are doing their Italian promotion at the moment and have some very nice frozen Calzone that fit very well into a ridge monkey Stocked up on these for the coming months, had them last year and they made a welcome change

I have a vacuum sealer, so tend to cook veggies at home then just reheat in a pan of boiling water on the bank. Chicken/Salmon etc. are poached fresh in the bag. You can do a breakfast omlette this way, but its a bit of a faff, so I just reheat cooked bacon and sausage and wrap a nice roll around them

I usually cook a curry or something similar, one pot cooking, a very easy way is to cut up some chicken and veg fry it off and add one of the Glorious soups, the Thai one is great as are the Dhaal and Coconut and the Jamaican Jerk, you can add a pack of the ready rice. All done in 15 minutes and very tasty.
