Odds on, but how many times has that happened over the years.
England managers are so scared of losing they dont even think about winning. Its the reverse for the Italians and French, Spain and Germany are a spent force. England have the players to play the Klopp way, just imagine how good that would be to watch at an international level.

Out of interest if Southgate resigned at the end of the tournament who would forum members have as the next manager?

England have the most expensive squad by far on paper apparently and can't even get a goal against Scotland, can only laugh.
And you're right, watching France the other night we would not have a chance against mbappe.

Scotland we're celebrating a draw!! That's how bad England are!!!

Lots of comments on here sum up the attitude of the whole thing with England.
"It's only Scotland ' and similar.
Well the Scots were the better team tonight. Worked harder. Played for each other. And if their centre forward was a bit sharper he'd have possibly got on one of Robertson's crosses.
Think about all the talk of 'he has to play grealish' ... hopes pinned on one player rather than a team . Don't get me wrong, he's a brilliant player who I'd love to see at Anfield but it's that mindset of the individual over the team. It unfortunately runs through the squad and the supporters alike.
Apart from grealish how many of those players are the best at their club? And yet there's all the hype about superstars...
I'm not jumping on the hate bandwagon as I do like a lot of the players. Sterling, James, Foden, Mount, stones... all really good players in my book. But the weight of expectation is always an issue.
Kane looks knackered. They miss Henderson in midfield alongside either rice or the Leeds lad.
I think they'll beat the Czech Republic and I really hope the Scots beat Croatia.
Also - is it just me or did the pitch look really small tonight?

Chairman Mal, I'm a Liverpool fan, who do you drop from a LFC team for Grealish?

Scotland set up to do a job and get what they wanted and deserved it
On paper we have some talent, and when we play some better teams who want a game of football I think we will shine.
Southgate however like I mentioned earlier is a one trick pony, swapped players for players, tactically wrong
Harry Kane is a great club striker and a goal scorer, not at the races and that was purely down to Sothgates tactics. Can't keep up with the other front two, dropping deep because he wants the ball, on the counter there is Sterling who cant hit and barn door (**** conversion rate) and Foden who is a work in progress, who I cannot believe he took off myself!
Southgate is playing the possession game from the back which is fine if you can build and score goals, we cannot, same in the last tournament ffs. Should have played 442 or 451 last night, when you have striker like Kane, who is an out and out centre forward who can finish, he's a target man who leads from up front. You either set up to his strengths or change things to suit others, if he is persevering with the two whippets he needs a stiker with electric pace to keep up with them. All he did last night is make Kane look like a ****ing idiot, fatigue had nothing to do with it, he wasn't in the game!
I think like already mentioned, he ticks the FA's old boys club box perfectly!
Have to say though. As mentioned, Mbappe, or what ever his name is, looks super sharp, proper threat and looks a great player, shame he's a French ****. Lol

Apparently Kane is still carrying a injury
The way we played last night it would appear the whole team are
MOTM for England Pickford
Play like that again and its all over for England and Southgate
Bloody disgraceful performance by all of them
They played like they took a bung

I said Southgate had no Plan B, well he had no plan whatsoever last night. They were up against the jocks FFS, they are the enemy, smash em! They were giving it to us, we should be giving it to them even harder! But no Mr 'I don't want to offend anyone' Southgate wants to try and play through the middle of a load of phsyco jocks! We have Kane up front who scores a large percentage of his goals with his head and they failed to cross the ball for him to attack! We started way to slow and should have gone for the throat. Attack, attack, attack attack attack!
