Trust you to bring everything around to Brexit, you are so bitter

Still trying to work out how that Labour woman said it wouldn't of happened if they were in charge. Maybe they have shares in Barca, Real etc

Easy target I guess

The politicians should just sod off. Puts me in mind of that character that was on one of the sketch shows who would go to the football but was totally out of place. Was it the lad out of cold feet that did it? He'd say things like 'yes! Go football!'

Bunch of turds

Andydave- I'm not sure about the weakened teams in the premier league being any different than it is now when the likes of city have a Saturday match against Brighton followed by a midweek against Bayern. They have to register a squad of 23 (I think) and I doubt the 1st team players would be happy with being left out.

Talk of banning players is just a ploy. It's not their decision to join the ESL and they are contracted as employees so the wrong target for UEFA to go after.

Edit - just had a google. John Thompson on the fast show. Very funny

I think city are the exception, everyone else would struggle in my opinion, especially the 2 north london teams.
The clubs have played their hands now, it wont go away, itll just keep coming back every few years

Agree about city and their squad

I'm half of a mind with tinhead in that it's a bit of a bargaining stance with uefa but it does seem a much stronger approach than previously

Agreed It does seem a bit more than that this time around. Having looked at social media, various clubs have released statements with their own views, you get the feeling the damage has been done now, will be interesting to see how it pans out

James milner just being very clear about his thoughts...

It's not for him. Klopp seems of the same view.

Leeds were more than worth their point tonight. Could've had 3 in the 2nd half.

Gary neville on a rant now. But he's a git so who cares eh?

So it would appear Chelsea are the first to pull out, as much as I hope it will be a domino effect, I'm not sure it will be

After Jurgen and pep's comments, don't be surprised if Liverpool and city are next. 2 of the top managers in football saying they don't want a part of it.

I heard that the Spanish courts have passed an injunction to stop players being banned from competitions as threatened by uefa. ... that could prove interesting

I can see City and the Spuds pulling out, but I can't see the 3 American owned clubs following suit. American sports owners aren't used to relegation and competition, this is arguably their only chance to do something about it.

Exactly that for me. Not exactly in it for a passion for the English game, club history or even the fans

I don't agree with this super league but by my own admission Arsenal aren't good enough to be in it at the moment anyway.

Nothing to do with form though all about global fanbase and sellability plus a yank owner.

All 6 English clubs out now.

I reckon mourinho planned it all to distract people from his getting sacked again....
