We probably all know where you are talking about but just a reminder..

No naming of persons or waters on the basis of unsubstantiated rumours

Had an email from the environment agency this morning. It's simple and clear and reminds us that the lockdown and social distancing....

'...means that none of us should be leaving our houses to go fishing.'

I wonder if that will make a difference though.....

Positive news and hopefully will be sooner rather than later. No problem in practicing social distancing effectively on a golf course or fishing lake and will do wonders for a lot of people's mental health.

Hi guys a newbie here so be gentle
As a sufferer of mental health fishing is not just a sport it is such important part of my life and just seeing that article has just given me an important and welcome lift.Im obviously 100% behind social distancing and the lockdown and so proud of the way most people have observed the rules but cant wait to get back out.Ive been following your forum for sometime now but not really one that's confident posting on forums but hey ho here's the first of many.Hope every one is safe and well and cant wait to get back out

As Spod says - welcome.

It's not so bad on here - and mostly some really good advice when you need it.

I think a lot of us are recognising our fishing as being important in different ways while we aren't allowed to go.

Chuffy - let's keep our fingers crossed eh?
